Wishing You a Happy New Year by Celebrating our 2016 Milestones


The Arc of Atlantic County received CQL Accreditation for another four years. CQL is recognized as a respected international leader that has redefined what excellence in person-centered services and supports looks like in action.


An art show was held in cooperation with the Stockton Arts Garage that feautured paintings by participants of the many arts and crafts classes held each month at the Delilah Road offices. The event was reported by The Press of AC – Click here.


The Arc of Atlantic County celebrated 55 years of service at the Annual MonArc Tribute Awards. The team gathered together with supporters to enjoy an evening of food and entertainment at The Carriage House restaurant.


A new computer lab opened for consumers to stay connected and strengthen their computer skills.The lab helps people stay connected to job boards, advocacy web sites and news.


Our Special Olympics Athletes received an exciting send off from friends and family. The event got coverage from the Press of AC and also SNJ Today.


The I. Rice Golfing for Good Tournament was a success and raised more than $100K.

07 The Step Up for The Arc Walk brought a great crowd of walkers out for a beautiful day of strolling the boards in Ventnor and engaging with the community.

08The OceanFirst Bank House was dedicated to the public.

Volunteers gathered to make phone calls thanking the many supporters and donors to The Arc of Atlantic County on #givingtuesday. The event was covered by SNJ Today.


The Arc of Atlantic County volunteered on Make A Difference Day and worked at many area non-profits including area thrift shops and rescue missions. SNJ Today covered the event.


The Arc AnGels Candle Shop opened and is ready for business, located in the Tilton Shopping Center at 331 Tilton Road, Northfield.



8th Annual I. Rice & Company Golfing for Good Tournament

golf-new-butThe Arc of Atlantic County has announced the 8th Annual I. Rice & Company Golfing for Good Tournament will be held on Thursday, September 15th at Linwood Country Club in Linwood. Registration begins at 7:30 AM followed by a 9:00 AM shotgun start.

Proceeds from Golfing for Good will directly benefit The Arc of Atlantic County’s program which provides services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in our community.

The event started when golfing buddies and Downbeach residents, Joe DiMedio, Steve Kuhl , and Irv Singer, decided to tap into their business contacts and resources to make a meaningful difference in the community, by enlisting the support and assistance of many long-time friends and local businesses and bringing them all together for a day of golf.

“I. Rice is proud to support The Arc of Atlantic County and their mission,” said Steve Kuhl, President and CEO of I. Rice and Company. “We have raised $412,000 for this worthy cause since creating the event. The money has been used to support The Arc’s recreation programs to help their consumers stay fit and healthy.”

“We’re grateful to Steve Kuhl and Joe DiMedio of I. Rice and Company, along with Irv Singer, for their commitment to The Arc each year,” said Pat Jones, CEO of The Arc of Atlantic County. “The event is a major fundraiser for our organization, raising money to fund our recreation programs, while introducing new people to the work that The Arc of Atlantic County does.”
